Project: Joint Research Center (JRC) – Support to the development of the Entrepreneurial Discovery Process (EDP) in Albania
Future Center, was in charge of the initial phase of the Entrepreneurial Discovery Process (EDP) in the Republic of Albania, and has played a pivotal role in shaping the National Smart Specialization Strategy (S3). Collaborating closely with the national Smart Specialization team and the Prime Minister’s office, Future Center has ensured that the development process is inclusive, innovative, and tailored to Albania’s unique strengths and opportunities. This comprehensive approach has involved organizing a series of strategic meetings and workshops that bring together key stakeholders from the Quadruple Helix model including: central and local government, business, academia, and civil society—focusing on four critical sectors:
- Agriculture, Fishing & Aquaculture, and Forestry
- Manufacturing
- Energy
- Tourism
